My experience at the Dallas Sidekicks’ playoff game last Friday night was amazing, but the Sidekicks lost. The other team that played against them was the Monterrey Flash and guess what – the Flash committed 17 fouls. I think the biggest foul was when No. 6 on the Flash knocked one of the Sidekicks down really bad. One of the players from the Flash scored from the side – he had a free shot – and got it in, but the one thing that is a little confusing is that the players were standing right there and still they got it.

Also, they had someone drive a car across the field and everyone in the audience threw these tiny soccer balls that you buy before you go into the stadium.

The goalie I talked to was nice, his name is Sagu and he’s from Africa. He said even though they lost they still played well. He also told me that he prepares for every game by eating a healthy meal and getting lots of rest, but that he doesn’t get much rest anymore since he has a new baby.

Me, my mom, my dad and my brother got nachos but when we got popcorn me and my mom were planning on going up to the press box. I only got a little popcorn but that was OK at least I got some. And the press box was amazing – you could see anything, even the tiny soccer ball. In the press box, they had free drinks. I got a Dr Pepper and after the first drink I got some fruit juice. it was hard not to cheer, though I cheered a bit, but other than that it was good. My experience was really great, other than losing.
