The Coppell Police Department stated that reports a gun at Coppell High School are false and they are investigating an anonymous tweet from earlier this morning.

Blackland Prairie Returns for Its Fourth Year

The Vintage Arts are brought back to life and this very family friendly and a great day out at a colorful event.  We are excited to show you all that we have for you!  Come share with us the fascination of creating fabulous end products from the most basic of materials!  Vendors, demos, music food, and shopping.  This event brings together artists from Texas and surrounding states to sell their creations and the tools of their trade in a festival atmosphere.  Skilled artisans will demonstrate their specific art form in spinning, weaving, rug hooking, soap making, wood carving, indigo dying, silk reeling and more.  35+ artisans will be offering their products including baskets, pottery, textiles carvings, jewelry and more.  The Dallas Handweavers' Guild will be present on Saturday spinning and weaving a shawl starting from the raw fiber.  Admission and parking are free.  The event benefits the Grayson County Shelter and donations are very welcome.  Saturday 9-5 on October 17, 2015 and 9-3 on October 18, 2015 at the Texoma Exposition and Livestock Showgrounds at Loy Lake Park, Denison, Texas.
