What does your business offer that is unique compared to similar businesses? NexRev directly employs its own engineers, developers, support personnel and field technicians that allow us to tightly control speed to market in product development, training, deployment, quality and support.
What is the most important part of your job on a daily basis? The most important part of my day is spending time with as many of our employees as possible, encouraging and teaching on the entrepreneurial culture we started with and continue to build. In this way, innovation and problem solving begins within the individuals, very much as it did twenty years ago.
What are your keys to success? Success for us has come through working to make sure that we are considered valuable in all we offer. The value of the products we provide are designed to always be worth significantly more than the dollars spent to obtain them. This changes us from being considered a vendor to being considered a true partner.
What surprises you most about your job? I am surprised by how prevalent it is that companies don’t follow through on what they commit to do for their customers. While innovation has played an important role in our success, we have been able to relatively quickly build deep relationships by doing nothing more than following through with what we committed to do.
Tell us something most people wouldn’t know about your company. We don’t publicize it, but we look for people that are inherently charitable. Our company is filled with people who want to make a positive difference in the world. I believe that comes by way of a charitable core, unwavering ethics, aggressive desire for innovation and good old-fashioned hard work.
