The first baby born in 2014 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano was a baby girl, arriving at 10:35 a.m. on Jan. 1.

Raegan Lynn Burlison Robbins was born to Heather Burlison and Tim Robbins of Frisco, weighing 9 pounds, 1 ounce and measuring 21 inches long.

“We are so happy that our little girl is finally here,” said Burlison. “We can’t wait to take her home. What a great way to start the new year!”

Texas Health Plano offers everything from assisted reproductive technologies to help women get pregnant to high-risk pregnancies and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

The hospital also offers a wide array of classes to help prepare parents for the birth and support groups to help new moms once the baby is here.
