What does your business offer that is unique compared to similar businesses?
MyCookieland is a business family-owned and operated that uses the same recipes that have been used for moms and grandmothers for years. We try to replicate those flavors that bring you back to your childhood or that will create childhood memories for your kids.
What is the most important part of your job on a daily basis?
Selecting high-quality ingredients to match beautiful designs to create an upscale product to satisfy our customer cravings to a reasonable price.
What are your keys to success?
Everything is “homemade” using quality ingredients and creating beautiful designs to satisfy both taste buds and eye pupils. We are always trying to innovate and fusion flavors from both Anglo and Hispanic cultures.
What surprises you most about your job?
To witness how important are desserts in all cultures. They are not only the culmination of a great meal but are also part of many happy moments and celebrations such as birthdays, baby showers, weddings, graduations, etc.
Tell us something most people wouldn't know about your company.
My wife founded MyCookieland in Mexico City 12 years ago and was very successful, but we had to close it because I was transferred to Plano due to my job. She continued baking for friends and family from home, and her work was so demanded that we decided to open MyCookieland in the D-FW area. We found the right spot in Allen.
