The Rustic

Uptown’s favorite live music and dining venue The Rustic has partnered with fellow Dallasite Jordan Spieth for an evening event benefiting the PGA TOUR superstar’s new charitable initiatives.

The inaugural Jordan Spieth Shootout and Charity Concert will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 21. The unforgettable day of golf and entertainment will start with a charity golf tournament at the TPC Four Seasons in Las Colinas, followed by a private concert at The Rustic that night featuring country headliner Jake Owen.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and Owen will take the stage at The Rustic’s open-air venue at 8 p.m., followed by a live auction. Proceeds from both the Shootout and the auction will benefit the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation.

“We’re delighted to take part in this special day to support the Jordan Spieth Charitable Fund, which has touched the lives of so many people from all walks of life,” said Kyle Noonan, co-owner of FreeRange Concepts, creator of The Rustic. “And with a chart-topper like Jake Owen on board, we’ll wrap up the festivities in style with great music, a few celebratory toasts and a live auction that’s sure to get the funds flowing for this worthy cause.”

Spieth, whose experiences on and off the course have helped shape his outlook on service and philanthropy, created his charity to lend time, awareness and financial aid to three areas very important to the 21-year old: Special needs youth, aspiring junior golfers and military families. Thanks to the Jordan’s dedication to helping others, the fund has grown exponentially in its first year, having distributed funds to numerous organizations to further their outreach.

“Playing golf on the PGA TOUR has been my lifelong dream. Thanks to the support of family and friends, especially those in Dallas, I’ve been able to make that dream a reality,” said Spieth. “Now I have a unique opportunity to help others through causes that are very personal to me. I am very excited to partner with The Rustic and good friend Jake Owen to help make this event as fun, memorable and successful as it can be.”

Although the concert is invitation-only, a limited number of general admission tickets are being made available. Tickets include dinner and drinks, as well as access to one-of-a-kind auction items. For more information, visit JordanSpiethGolf.com/charitabletrust.
