Cookie lovers in Allen and McKinney have cause to celebrate.
Late this year, Tiff’s Treats, a Texas-based company known for its cookies and brownies, baked fresh and delivered warm, will open in Allen to serve residents and businesses in the Allen and McKinney areas.
“We are so excited to bring warm cookie delivery to the Allen and McKinney area,” said Leon Chen, co-founder of Tiff’s Treats, along with his wife, Tiffany. “This area is home to us, and we can’t wait to work with businesses and residents to make each day a little sweeter.”
Tiff and Leon are Richardson natives who started baking and delivering warm cookies from their college apartment. Now, the originators of the warm cookie delivery concept are expanding to bring the addictive flavor – made possible by Tiff’s mother’s cookie recipes – to more happy customers north of the Metroplex.
The Allen-McKinney location is part of expansion plans at Tiff's Treats, which began 2016 with 19 locations and will end the year with at least 27 locations. The company’s aggressive expansion is funded by overall business growth and an approximate $14 million investment the company received in mid-2015 from investors impressed by the success of the brand.
Expected to open at the end of the year, Tiff’s Treats Allen/McKinney will be a 1,578-square-foot store located at 977 State Highway 121, Suite 160, in Allen. In typical Tiff's Treats style, the store will hold a grand opening celebration to benefit a very worthy local nonprofit.
