More than 900 employees from First United’s community banks and financial service teams in Oklahoma and Texas joined together in Durant, Okla. for the organization’s Annual Stakeholder Meeting last week.
The meeting is an opportunity for reuniting stakeholders and reigniting enthusiasm for the bank’s purpose of inspiring and empowering others to “Spend Life Wisely,” according to a news release.
The event’s keynote speaker was best-selling author and inspirational speaker Andy Andews.
“Our employees are a cornerstone in our stakeholder model,” said First United CEO Greg Massey. “They are dedicated to fulfilling our purpose and living by our values.
"The Annual Stakeholder Meeting is a valuable time for us to pause and reflect on the deeper reason of why we exist and what we are here to accomplish in the lives of our stakeholders.”
Individual and bank awards were presented as well as recognition for employees’ years of service.
