What does your business offer that is unique compared to similar businesses?
Customization. We can customize anything from framing, commissioned artwork by a local artist, or even working with one of our graphic artists to create a customized piece from our new line of reproduction art, Orisons Décor.
What is the most important part of your job on a daily basis?
The most important part is customer service. Downtown McKinney has a reputation of being friendly and we like to embody that. Our staff will take the time to find that perfect frame or let a customer know if an image does not meet our print standards. We want to make sure our customers get a quality product that they will love.
What are your keys to success?
The keys to our success have been creating quality products at low prices and developing relationships with our artists and customers.
What surprises you most about your job?
What surprise me are the stories that come in with every piece of art or photograph. People will bring us their art, photographs, military, sports or family memorabilia and share their memories about them. How repairing an inherited and beloved framed mirror can makes someone’s day and save them from tears at the thought of losing it. It’s not just about pretty pictures. It is about the emotions and memories that come with them.
Tell us something most people wouldn't know about your company.
Our store spans a whole city block. Don’t let our small storefront fool you. We even have space on the second floor with more art.
