What’s likely the most obvious sign – or result – of growth for a city? Well, other than rows of home rooftops and increased traffic – what nearly every Dallas-area suburb has – it’s new businesses.
Or at least an expanding chamber of commerce membership. Such additions and business expansion seems to happen in McKinney every week.
After holding official ribbon-cutting ceremonies for two businesses the week of Jan. 17, the McKinney Chamber of Commerce kept its ribbons and oversized scissors in tow for the days following.
The Chamber on Jan. 26 welcomed to the city Brad Clawson Photography, of the nationally published photographer who specializes in landscape, headshots and travel photos. He is available for corporate lifestyle and events, Chamber officials noted.
Later that day, the Chamber gained another member: Dust and Shine Cleaning Service. The family-operated business vows to “take care of all your home cleaning needs,” according to the Chamber. Get more information on the service at dustandshine15.com.
On Jan. 28, ML Surfaces joined the McKinney Chamber. The locally-owned floor covering company has 13 years of experience offering creative design with installation. Check them out on Facebook.
The same day, Liberty Tax Service, which specializes in preparing tax returns for individuals and small businesses also became a Chamber member. Visit Liberty at 400 N. Central Expressway, Ste. 107, in McKinney, or make an appointment online.
