Diabetes Self-Management (DSMP)
The Stanford University Diabetes Self-Management Program consists of six 2½-hour workshops, led by two trained facilitators. Workshop topics include techniques to deal with the symptoms of diabetes; exercise for maintaining and improving strength and endurance; healthy eating and menu planning; appropriate use of medication; and working more effectively with health care providers.
