Slip on your cowboy boots and get ready to have a Texas-sized good time at TEXFest, a free celebration of Texas Independence Day, featuring craft beer, good food, and local artists performing Texas music. The fifth annual event takes place Saturday, March 7 in Historic Downtown Carrollton from 3-9 p.m. Dallas-based country artist Kirk Holloway, singer-songwriter Frankie Leonie, and southern rock band Atlantis Aquarius will warm up the crowd before headliner Vandoliers takes the stage at 8 p.m.


There will be a variety of food vendors on site, as well as craft beer from more than 20 local breweries, including 3 Nations Brewing Company, Armadillo Ale Works, Austin Eastciders, Bishop Cider Company, Bitter Sisters Brewing Company, Community Beer Company, Deep Ellum Brewing Company, Four Corners Brewing Company, Franconia Brewing Company, HopFusion Ale Works, Karbach Brewing Company, Lakewood Brewing Company, Noble Rey Brewing Company, Pedernales Brewing Company, Pegasus City Brewery, Rabbit Hole Brewing, Rahr & Sons Brewing Company, Revolver Brewing, Texas Select Beverage Company, TUPPS Brewery, and Unlawful Assembly Brewing Company. Commemorative TEXFest beer glasses will be on sale so that attendees can enjoy responsibly and in style in the event’s beer garden.
