On Dec. 23, Camp Bow Wow’s trainer, Tracy Allard, celebrated her 100th graduating obedience class. Camp Bow Wow is an independently owned franchise located in Coppell and provides dog daycare, boarding, grooming and training services. Allard started training there in 2014 and holds the certification level of Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Knowledge and Skills Assessed (or CPDT-KSA for short), one of less than a dozen in the state of Texas. She conducts beginner, intermediate and advance group-training classes in the dedicated 400 sq ft training room at the facility as well as at-Camp and in-home private training and behavior modification services.

Allard is a 15-year resident of Coppell and retired from a corporate sales career at the end of 2013 and has never looked back. “I used to board my dogs at Camp Bow Wow every time I traveled. I was a good customer flying 150,000 miles a year on average” Tracy said. “Now I live one mile from work and spend my day with not just my own dogs, but client’s as well.” She is proud of her dedication to positive reinforcement training methods and techniques and spends thousands of dollars each year on continuing education.
