The Boys and Girls Club organization that provides after-school programs for youth nationwide is seeking community input in a meeting about the possible creation of a Boys and Girls Club in Denton County.
The project is called “Mission in Motion for Denton County.” The meeting will happen at Westside Baptist Church at 6 p.m. May 24 at 900 Bellaire Blvd. in Lewisville.
The Boys and Girls Club is asking Lewisville, Flower Mound, Highland Village and Carrollton families to attend the meeting so they understand how everyone would benefit from its involvement in our community.
Attendees can tour a mobile clubhouse, talk to trained staff, enjoy dinner and get a HelloFresh meal kit. Children will receive goodie bags.
The mission of Westside Baptist Church is to serve God by sharing Christ and loving people.
