The city of Carrollton Rosemeade Rainforest Aquatic Complex (1334 E. Rosemeade Parkway) opening, including swim lesson registration and private party rental opportunities, continues to be postponed for weather-related construction delays.
An exact opening date has not yet been set and will be dependent upon Mother Nature, so the city of Carrollton has partnered with the city of Farmers Branch for Carrollton residents to be able to visit the Farmers Branch Frog Pond Water Park beginning Saturday for daily admission at the resident rate of $5 per person. This arrangement is good for daily admission, but not season passes and will be honored until the Carrollton facility opens.
Although the facility opening and swim lesson registration has been delayed, the city has found a way to offer swim lessons at the Carrollton Farmers Branch Independent School District Natatorium June 3 through June 13 in the afternoon hours. Registration will be available for Carrollton residents beginning Friday. For more details, visit cityofcarrollton.com/signupnow.
As a reminder, the W.J. Thomas and Oak Hills splash parks have opened for the season and are available free to the public.
