What does your business offer that is unique compared to similar businesses?

Having both a music store and a teaching facility all under one roof gives us a unique opportunity to meet the needs of our shoppers from top to bottom. We’re a one-stop shop where you can literally buy an instrument and then head upstairs to start your musical training the same day. If you are in a lesson and break a string, no problem. You can head downstairs and grab a new pack.

What is the most important part of your job on a daily basis?

I think our slogan best sums it up: There’s nothing a little music can’t handle. Music is a powerful thing. It has the power to move people in unprecedented ways and gives people a way to express things they’d otherwise not know how to do. Our goal is to bring that power to shoppers and students. Introducing our clientele to the power of music and showing them how to express themselves musically is our primary goal. Music speaks when words fail.

What are your keys to success?

Community involvement and support; offering a quality experience from top to bottom and start to finish.

What surprises you most about your job?

Seeing how music inspires and motivates people in different ways. Every day, people come in and share their stories with us about how music got them through a dark place in their lives, or how music and performing helped them overcome a fear.

Tell us something most people wouldn't know about your company.

This company is my husband’s dream come true. He wrote his college final exam on this dream and we never thought we’d actually be able to make it come to fruition, but here we are. We’re living the dream and hopefully we’ll inspire others to do the same.
