It was a busy Saturday in Frisco on October 1 as three events brought community members together to honor the arts with a little bit of fitness, enjoy the German tradition of raising a glass of bier while rolling a keg, and celebrate Hispanic culture at the Hispanic Heritage Festival.

With the perfect exercise weather of the morning hours, hundreds of runners, walkers and arts enthusiasts took part in the 25th annual Frisco Arts Walk & Run, which allowed those participating to see artists in action, whether they were dancers from the Collin County Ballet Company, musicians from Melody of Hope, or visual artists from the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco. The event was held at HALL Park, which features the largest collection of outdoor art installments in Texas.
