Forty-six men were arrested in an undercover prostitution sting this month according to local and federal authorities.
The sting took place in Frisco and Southlake, Texas, the Dallas Morning News reports. The incident in Frisco took place at the Hyatt hotel near Stonebriar Centre. The Southlake sting took place at the Hilton hotel at Southlake Town Square. The sting took place Jan. 12-13.Â
The names of the individuals arrested have not been released. The men face charges of solicitation of prostitution, a felony in Texas punishable with up to two years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
The Dallas Morning News reports that this is the second extensive commercial sex sting operation in North Texas suburbs in recent months. Police have arrested 23 people following an investigation at short-term rentals in Plano and Dallas.
