Career expert website Zippia recently named Frisco as the most successful city in America.
Zippia’s rankings are based on poverty level, median household income and unemployment rate. While the poverty level and median household income help to measure a city’s wealth, unemployment rate projects future success for a city and its residents.
Data findings show that Frisco has the lowest poverty rate in the U.S. and the highest median income at $112,155. Its unemployment rate is a mere 4.9 percent.
The financial and economic success of Frisco makes it the most successful out of the 289 cities studied, according to Zippia.
Texas cities take three out of the Top 10 spots: McKinney is ranked fifth, boasting the lowest unemployment rate in the nation. Neighboring Plano ranks No. 8.
Cities in North Carolina, Illinois, Colorado, Virginia, Kansas and Arizona make up the rest of Zippia’s Top 10 rankings.
