Frisco will host its annual Frisco Freedom Fest event on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4, the city has announced.Â
July 3 events will include a cornhole tournament, dachshund dash, yankee doodle poodle parade and 5K glow run.
July 4 events will include a Party in the Plaza at 4 p.m. and runs through a fireworks display hosted by the City of Frisco, FC Dallas, and CoServ. The event also includes the Taste of Frisco event.Â
The Frisco Water Park will open on May 27, the city has said.Â
The first 100 people through the gates on opening day will receive a commemorative beach towel!Â
Summer hours will be in place from May 27-Aug. 5:Â
Monday-Friday - noon to 6 p.m.Â
Saturday-Sunday - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.Â
Late summer hours will be in place from Aug. 6 - Sept. 4:Â
Saturday - Sunday - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.Â
Monday - Friday - closed. Â
Bicycle events scheduled
The next Roll with the Council bicycling event is slated for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 13 and will start at Northeast Community Park (see more information at friscotexas.gov/1469/Roll-with-the-Council) The event will include the Preston Ridge Cycling Club.Â

At 1 p.m. May 13, the Shawnee Trail Cycling Club will start at B.F. Phillips Community Park. More information is at stcycling.com.
