A search conducted by the Frisco Police Department has resulted in the seizure of counterfeit Oxycodone pillsÂ
According to a statement published by the Frisco Police Department over social media on Tuesday, the Frisco Special Operations Unit recently worked with detectives to execute a search warrant on a residence. The search resulted in the seizure of multiple guns, drugs and cash, according to the department.Â
"Included in this were multiple counterfeit Oxycodone pills which are often found to contain Fentanyl, the leading cause of overdose deaths in the United States," the department stated.Â
"Frisco Police would like to remind everyone to think twice before using any type of illegal substance, as it is not always what it appears to be," the department stated. "Our department is thankful for the excellent for of our detectives and special operations unit and will continue to work diligently to keep these drugs off the street."Â
