The number of charges of harassment and discrimination in Texas workplaces increased over the past year, according to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s 2013 report.

The report showed that the EEOC received 9,068 harassment and discrimination charges in Texas last year – up 2 percent from 2012 and enough for 9.7 percent of all such charges in the United States.
