Roughly 70 acres were burned Wednesday as a grass fire took over land on Legacy Drive, north of Stonebrook Parkway.Â
Roadways were closed, including northbound Legacy at Stonebrook and southbound Legacy at Cotton Gin.Â
Based on social media updates from the Frisco Fire Department, as of 4:19 p.m., southbound Legacy at Cotton Gin opened to traffic. As of 5:20 p.m., the fire was declared contained. Approximately 70 acres were burned and several roads remained closed.
All roads were opened back up by 7:06 p.m., the department stated.Â
