On Saturday, January 21, at Verona Villa in Frisco, the Frisco and Little Elm communities came out in full force to support Refresh Frisco and Refresh Little Elm for its inaugural gala.
The tables were packed, the donations were pouring in from the silent and live auction, and smiles could be found all around the venue, especially on the faces of Refresh Frisco and Refresh Little Elm founder Elizabeth Watkins and her volunteer staff.
Proper hygiene is important for a child's health and self-esteem, and at Refresh Frisco and Refresh Little Elm, the organization's mission is to ensure that every child in the community has access to personal hygiene items. The organization can only accomplish this mission with the help of the community — and that's why the success of Saturday evening's gala was so important.
