Lewisville High School released the following information regarding plans to honor former students:
In the 122 year history of Lewisville High School, many outstanding young people have earned diplomas and have left the halls of the school to become successful, outstanding men and women who have made a name for themselves, brought honor to the high school, and served their community, their country, and their fellow men with dignity and honor.
We want our students to be able to see examples of quality education, and involvement in school activities while in high school; thus, the development of the Lewisville High School Hall of Fame.
A committee composed of teachers from Lewisville High School and citizens of the Lewisville Community, who are all alumni of LHS, will be responsible for selecting and inducting Lewisville High School graduates into the Hall of Fame for the 2019-2020 school year.
The criteria considered in the nomination and selection into the Hall of Fame is:
A) Graduate of Lewisville High School. (This is a must.)
B) Service to the Community.
C) Service to our Country.
D) Contributions to society and to mankind.
E) Achievements in their chosen field.
F) Personal accomplishments.
G) A role model for youth.
A nominee does not have to meet all of the criteria, but should be exceptional in the criteria met. Anyone can nominate a candidate for consideration into the Hall of Fame. Formal nomination forms are available in the school office or you may download one from the LHS website, lhs.lisd.net.

Deadline for nominations for the 2019-20 induction is Aug. 28.
