Brininstool

Rusty Brininstool was one of several Lewisville police officers recently commended for their service. 

Lewisville police officers Steve Schaffer and Travis Wallace responded to a panic alarm in the 1200 block of Marina Court. The alarm company was not able to get in touch with the homeowner due to the homeowner’s cellular phone being silenced.

The two officers identified themselves and made sure everyone in the home was safe. They were commended by the residents for the professional response to the call for service, especially unknowing of the situation in the home.

Officer Chessa Cassels responded to a lost child call in the 1300 block of Cherry Hill Lane. A child had lost her way home while walking home from school on the first day of class. Cassels was commended for her actions in locating the child and driving the child back home safely.

Officer Rusty Brininstool helped a resident secure a front door to a home located in the 1600 block of Pebble Beach Drive, after learning that the home had been damaged by fire. Brininstool went to the home on his day off and secured the door. He also established a close patrol of the residence. Brininstool was commended for his instinctive help of others.
