The McKinney Police Department responded to a reported arson incident on Feb. 27, according to community crime map data.Â
Data indicates that police responded to an arson call reported for 3:58 p.m. Feb. 27 on the 900 block of Maples Ave.Â
The city of McKinney has said that the McKinney Police and Fire departments are working together on the case, and it is still under investigation.Â
Data indicates McKinney police also responded to two burglaries from a motor vehicle: one on the 4400 block of Cordova Lane reported for 8:40 a.m. Feb. 27 and another on the 2800 block of Craig Drive reported for 6:16 p.m. March 3.Â
Police responded to a motor vehicle theft on the 300 block of North McDonald St., reported for 9:46 a.m. March 3.Â
Police also responded to the following theft calls:Â
Theft on the 1500 block of North Central Expressway, reported for 9:22 a.m. Feb. 27
Theft on the 1700 block of North Custer Road, reported for 10:40 a.m. Feb. 27
Theft on the 3000 block of Alma Road, reported for 6:32 p.m. March 4
Theft on the 2700 block of North Brook Drive, reported for 1:58 p.m. March 5
