Madeline Bohlman, daughter of Jim and Melanie Bohlman of McKinney, was crowned the 2019 National American Miss Texas Teen at the state pageant held July 27-29.

She will attend the National Pageant at Disneyland in Anaheim during Thanksgiving week, representing the state of Texas. Bohlman will have the opportunity to win her share of over $500,000 in prizes.

Bohlman runs an online boutique called Ana Marie Boutique and enjoys community service and hanging out with friends. She is sponsored by her parents and Bob and Mary Eoff.

Each year, the National American Miss Pageants awards $1.5 million in cash, scholarships and prizes to recognize and assist the development of young women nationwide.

The program is based on “inner beauty,” as well as poise and presentation. Emphasis is placed on the importance of gaining self-confidence, learning new skills, learning good attitudes about competition, and setting and achieving personal goals.
