The Little Forest Hills Progressives will be hosting a Town Hall with Kendall Scudder and Dan Wood in Dallas on June 15, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. to introduce the two candidates to the east Dallas community and field questions/comments about the real concerns that they may have. The event will be at the White Rock United Methodist Church, 1450 Oldgate Ln, in Dallas.

Scudder, the Texas Senate, District 2, candidate and Wood, the U.S. Congress, District 5 candidate invite all members of the community to meet with them and share their insights, experiences, and needs for their families and neighborhoods.

“We want to hear what people in SD-2 ad CD-5 really need so that we can become better advocates for folks in our community that have been shut out of their government,” Scudder said. “The out of touch politicians in Austin keep pushing bathroom bills and school vouchers instead of investing in our schools and our infrastructure.”

Wood added, “Jeb Hensarling is so out-of-touch with the Dallas community that he refuses to even host a town hall.  By having this event, we are showing Dallas that we are here to listen and here to advocate for them.”

Election Day for midterm elections falls on November 6th, 2018. To learn more about Scudder or Wood’s positions on vital issues such as inadequate funding for veterans affairs and our crumbling infrastructure, as well as resources for families visit or
