West Mesquite completed its run to the 12-5A championship on Friday with a 1-0 victory over second-place Bryan Adams (10-2-2, 32).
The Wranglers complete the district campaign with a 12-1-1 record and 37 points as they turn their attention to the playoffs as a No. 1 seed.
North Mesquite (5-4-5, 20) got a strong effort from several players, including man of the match Chris Romero, as it rolled to a 8-2 victory over Spruce.
After a slow start, the Stallions posted a 3-0-3 record down the stretch to secure a postseason spot.
Poteet (3-6-5, 14) picked up a point with a scoreless draw against Samuell, but saw its season come to an end.
The Poteet girls put the finishing touches on their first district championship since 2016 on Friday with a 4-0 victory over Samuell.
The Pirates (13-0-1, 40 points) complete the 12-5A campaign without a district loss as they turn their attention to the playoffs as the No. 1 seed coming out of the district.
North Mesquite is headed back to the playoffs for the first time since 2015 in emphatic fashion as it rolled to a 11-0 victory over Spruce.
The Stallions (12-2-0, 36), who will be the second seed in the postseason, got a hat trick from Amalia Lopez, two goals each from Fatima Castro, Abigail Ortega and Ana Rosales and additional scores from Destiny Cardona and Alicia Alejos.
West Mesquite (7-7-0, 21) did not finish the season the way it would have hoped with a 3-1 loss to Bryan Adams (8-4-1, 25), but it is also making history with its first playoff appearance in a decade when the postseason gets underway next week.
