Dallas Christian quarterback Zack Haaland accounted for five touchdowns as the Chargers rolled to a 45-27 victory over Tyler Grace Community on Friday.

Dallas Christian tuned up for the playoffs with a solid 45-27 victory over Tyler Grace Community on Friday at Charger Stadium to finish the regular season at 9-1.

The game was a lot more lopsided than the score indicated, as the Chargers were in control from the start.

Dallas Christian took the early lead on a 17-yard touchdown run by Zack Haaland in the first quarter and they took control in the second.

Haaland added a 27-yard touchdown run and threw a 28-yard scoring strike to Garrett Tillett and Preston Johnson tacked on a 30-yard field goal to give them a 24-0 halftime lead.

Dallas Christian added another big play early in the third quarter when Parker Robertson broke free for a 82-yard touchdown run to push the lead to 31-0 and they put it in cruise control from there, resting starters and allowing Tyler Grace Community to make the score more respectable.

Though they gave up four late touchdowns, they also did enough to never feel threatened, as Haaland threw a 14-yard scoring strike to TJ King and then kept it himself on a 48-yard run to the end zone that made it 45-14 at the end of three quarters.
