Angier E. McGee Jr. passed away on March 31, 2016 with his loving family by his side.
He was born on August 2, 1932 to Angier Sr. and Mable McGee, in Dallas, Texas. Angier graduated from Forest Avenue High School in 1952, he married Patsy on August 22, 1973 in Dallas, Texas, and worked as an electronic engineer for most of his life. He loved animals, especially cats. Angier enjoyed photography, reading, and was a self-taught musician, playing the guitar, mandolin, piano, banjo, violin, harmonica, melodic, and harpsichord.
He is survived by his daughter, Laura M Lewis and husband Tim of Quinlan, Texas; granddaughter, Jennifer Lewis White and husband Matthew of Dallas, Texas; grandson, Joseph Lewis and wife Hollie of Mesquite, Texas; five great grandchildren; brother, William M McGee and wife June of Arlington, Texas; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded by his parents; wife, Patsy McQueen McGee; and son, Troy G McQueen Jr.
Visitation for Angier was held on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Gonzalez Funeral Home from 4-6 pm. Services took place on Monday April, 4, 2016 at Gonzalez Funeral Home in the Chapel at 11 am with internment following at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
