Anytime Fitness to open new club in Plano

Working out is about to get a lot easier.  Anytime Fitness is coming to North Plano.

Anytime Fitness franchisee Greg Kennedy confirmed that he has signed a lease for a 4,400 square-foot space and plans to build a gym in the Plano Crossing Shopping Center at Ohio Drive and State Highway 121. Construction will start by month end and be performed by CL Design and Consulting.  The target date for the club’s grand opening is early Spring 2016.

“What differentiates Anytime Fitness from other clubs is our focus on helping members get the results that they’re seeking,” Kennedy said.  “Our gym will be small enough that we can provide personalized attention for all of our members. “

Nationwide, the average Anytime Fitness club has about 800 members.  The gyms are staffed roughly 6-8 hours a day, but members can access the club whenever they like using a computerized key-fob system.

“We make it easy for our members to exercise whenever and however they like,” Kennedy said.  “. Our goal is to get our members to a Healthier place in 2016 and beyond”.

Membership at one Anytime Fitness club gives members access to nearly 3,000 clubs worldwide at no extra charge.

The layout of every Anytime Fitness club is designed for quick and effective exercise.  At the new club in North Plano, members will have full use of top-quality equipment and amenities, including Circuit and strength resistance training machines, free weights, cardio equipment and private changing rooms with bathrooms and showers.
