Five on Three: Employee Money Solutions

Kevin Giles

Regional Vice President, Employee Money Solutions

EMS offers the “New Way” in supplemental benefits to employees, individuals and self-employed.  Compared to the “Old Way”, for comparable premiums, EMS offers more comprehensive coverage with higher coverage caps.  The big difference is that if benefits are not previously maximized, it provides a tax-free, judgment-proof retirement income.

What does your business offer that is unique, compared to similar businesses?

EMS offers life insurance policies that one doesn’t have to die to take advantage of.  Our policies include living benefits for critical and terminal illnesses, critical injuries, long-term care and/or a tax-free, judgment-proof retirement income for life.

What is the most important part of your job on a daily basis?

Sharing what EMS offers with everyone I meet.  Most people have no idea that anything as revolutionary and beneficial as EMS’s Lifetime Benefit Plan even exists.

What are your keys to success?

Communicating effectively to people how the EMS Lifetime Benefit Plan would benefit them and their loved ones.

What surprises you most about your job?

I suppose that it shouldn’t be surprising to me, but it is amazing how many people remark after first seeing the “New Way vs. Old Way” comparison, “EMS’s Lifetime Benefits Plan is a No-Brainer!”

Tell us something most people wouldn't know about your company.

Most people are amazed that for the same or comparable premiums spent on “Old Way” plans for temporary supplemental benefits that terminate at retirement age and have no cash value accumulation, one can have more comprehensive permanent coverage with higher benefits and accumulate cash value that can be used as tax-free, judgment-proof retirement income for life.
