What does your business offer that is unique, compared to similar businesses?
The Barre Code has successfully turned what could be considered a regular fitness routine, into a lifestyle that extends beyond the class. At The Barre Code we focus on using positivity to empower women to push past their comfort zones. We focus always on what there is to gain, and never on what there is to lose.
What is the most important part of your job on a daily basis?
The most important part of my job is to ensure that every woman that walks in our doors feels comfortable and welcome. When I see a client transform to not only be physically stronger, but to walk with more confidence knowing she has exceeded her own expectations, that is when I truly feel that I’ve done my job.
What are your keys to success?
Just like our mantra says: “We are relentless. We live to evolve. To exceed our own extraordinary expectations. We live by The Barre Code. “
What surprises you most about your job?
That there are still so many people who do not make exercise a regular part of their lives. Whether it’s The Barre Code or any other fitness regimen, it’s vital to take care of your body and finding something you enjoy doing will help you make it part of your ongoing lifestyle.
Tell us something most people wouldn't know about your company.
Although The Barre Code is a franchise, we strive to create community within our studio, but also to engrain ourselves in the Plano community. Owner, Julie Godfrey, spent 11 years working in corporate wellness, and is still very invested in helping companies improve the culture of health among their employees, particularly in the Plano community.
