Garland ISD recently held its annual Senior Summit Luncheon at the Curtis Culwell Center to honor the top 10 graduates from each high school, as well as two top graduates from Memorial Pathway Academy.
The 72 students were invited to celebrate their accomplishments with their families and a teacher of their choosing, who has most influenced their educational career. At lunch, the chosen teacher were presented with a letter from the student telling them how they have made an impact on their life.
The luncheon included a video presentation of where these top students have planned after graduation, and a message to their influential teacher.
This year’s Rowlett High School top 10 students are (in alphabetical order) Jacob Gartrell, Breanna Green, Luke Harris, Braden Jones, Tiffany Lam, Jeanne Le, Kelly Long, Rachel Marsh, Stephanie Nuñez, and Grayson Ogle.
The video presentation of the 72 top seniors can be found on the district’s Youtube channel – garlandisdnews.
