Sachse suffered no lingering effects from its hard-fought loss against Wylie, as they cruised to a 10-0 win over Naaman Forest on Tuesday.

Mattie Boyd struck out 14 and surrendered only four hits in six innings, while also going 3-for-3 with three runs batted in at the plate, and Katlin Lusk was 3-for-4 with two runs and four RBIs.

The Mustangs opened some distance with a five-run fourth inning. Caitlin Clem, Alyssa Warren and Bailey Balderson all walked to load the bases. Nya Brown plated two runs with a single, Lusk had a two-run double and Boyd added a sacrifice fly to make it 8-0.

Brown tacked on a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning and they put the run rule into effect in the sixth, as Kayla Olthouse singled and scored on a double by Boyd.

Rowlett got back on the winning track with a 18-3 rout of North Garland. The Eagles scored eight runs in both the first and third innings to put it away, with Ashleigh McLeroy pitching four frames to earn the win.
