The Colony senior Tamya Waiters hit a walk-off single in Friday's bi-district playoff game against Frisco Reedy.

The Colony senior Tamya Waiters hit a walk-off, RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Lady Cougars an 7-6 win over Frisco Reedy on Friday night in Game 2 and complete a two-game bi-district sweep over the Lions.

Reedy tied the score at 6-6 on a two-run home run by Makayla Cox in the top of the seventh.

The two teams combined for 17 hits and the Lady Cougars overcame three errors to earn the victory.

Senior Olivia Wick went 3 for 3 with four runs score to power The Colony offense.

Junior Madison Levsey, who had an inside-the-park home run and the go-ahead RBI sacrifice fly in Thursday's Game-One win, hit a home run during Friday's home game.

Junior Kaitlyn Moeller recorded two doubles.

Freshman Addison Dorsay picked up the win on the hill for the Lady Cougars. She pitched 3.2 innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on three hits with a strikeout.

It was the first playoff series win for The Colony since 2019.

The Lady Cougars will play Carrollton Creekview in the area round in a one-game playoff, 7 p.m. Friday, May 6 at The Colony. The Lady Mustangs beat South Oak Cliff, 23-1, on Thursday.
