Around 5:02 a.m. Wednesday, Flower Mound Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 2101 Long Prairie Road.
According to a press release issued by the Flower Mound Police Department, upon officers arrival it was learned that three black males wearing clothing to cover their identities had assaulted the clerk with a pistol and proceeded to steal the money in the cash registers.
The clerk was injured but did not require medical assistance, according to police.
Flower Mound officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspects. It is also believed this incident is related to two other robberies which occurred earlier in the evening in Lewisville and Richardson. In those incidents it was also reported that three black males had entered two additional 7-Eleven locations displaying a gun and stealing money from the cash register, police said.
