Through early voting, incumbent Tan Parker, a Republican, leads in the State Representative District 63 race with 67 percent (41,634 votes) over Democrat Laura Haines (32.9 percent, 20,441 votes).
Republican Lynn Stucky, the incumbent, has 54 percent of the votes (28,722 votes) in the race for State Representative District 64. Democrat Andrew Morris has 43.7 percent (23,231), and Libertarian Nick Dietrich has 2.3 percent (1,195).
In the race for State Representative District 65, Michelle Beckley, a Democrat, is edging out incumbent Ron Simmons, a Republican. She has 50.2 percent of the votes (22,941 votes) to Simmons' 49.8 percent (22,735 votes).
Republican Jared Patterson leads in the State Representative District 106 race with 58.5 percent of the votes (38,135) to Democrat Ramona Thompson's 41.5 percent (27,088 votes).
In the race for State Senator, District 30, Pat Fallon has a slim lead (50.2 percent, 17,544 votes in Denton County to 49.8 percent, 17,403 votes) over Democrat Kevin Lopez.
Republican Andy Eads leads in the race for county judge in Denton County with 57.7 percent of the votes (129,218 votes) over Democrat Diana Leggett (42.3 percent, 94,899 votes).
Eads is the commissioner for Precinct 4.
In the Precinct 4 race, Republican Dianne Edmondson has secured 61.5 percent of the votes (36,185 votes) over Democrat Bryan Webb (38.6 percent, 22,697 votes).
In Precinct 2, incumbent Ron Marchant, a Republican, leads with 49.4 percent (25,734) over Democrat Brandy Jones (47.9 percent, 24,875). Libertarian James Felber has 2.6 percent.
Republican Ted Cruz, the incumbent, leads in the U.S. Senate race with 54.6 percent of Denton County votes over Democrat Beto O'Rourke (44.8 percent) and Neal Dikeman (0.6 percent).
Incumbent Michael Burgess, a Republican, leads in the race for U.S. Representative, District 26. He has 58.7 percent of the votes in Denton County to Democrat Linsey Fagan's 39.9 percent and Libertarian Mark Boler's 1.3 percent.
Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, has secured 59.6 percent of the Denton County votes over Democrat Lupe Valdez (38.5 percent) and Libertarian Mark Jay Tippetts (1.9 percent).
